West Coast rapper Game exercised his NBA connection last night (December 17) in California by getting one of his kid’s a hookup from Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant.
Bryant showed Game some love by signing his son’s sneaker.
Earlier this week, sportswear giant Nike unveiled Bryant’s highly-anticipated Kobe XI sneakers.
At first glance, the low-top and simplified silhouette appears familiar. One could be fooled into believing that they’ve seen this before. Wrong. Look closer. See those pearlescent fibers? Those are thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) threads, an indication of progression; and, despite their subtlety, an announcement of the arrival of an evolution, a stronger iteration of Nike Flyknit. The Black Mamba also issued a statement on his latest sneakers.
“Throughout my time with Nike, I’ve obsessed the details of my shoes. For the KOBE 11, we worked to perfect Flyknit for basketball,” said 17-time All-Star Kobe Bryant. (Nike)

Dipset leader Cam’ron and rap star Lil Wayne reacted to Kobe’s retirement announcement on social media in late November.
His son better put those shoes up for safe keeping. Game better spend a lot of time with his kids, that police officer he assaulted trying to get him locked up.
