Reports last week revealed a judge issued an arrest warrant for Game’s arrest.

The L.A. County D.A. charged Game this week with one count of making criminal threats, according to docs. The threat came when he allegedly said, “I’m going to kill you” to an off duty LAPD officer. TMZ broke the story … Game and the cop got into it back in March while they were playing in a league hoops game. Even though you can clearly see Game punch the guy in the video we obtained … he was NOT charged with battery. Our law enforcement sources point out the punch would have just been a misdemeanor — as opposed to the felony for threats. (TMZ)

Recently, Game claimed he was going to stay away from the basketball court scene and spend quality time with family amid his publicized altercation.

“Nah man, I’ve been off the hoop courts for a minute,” Game said. “I run into a little situations, Usher voice, so I’m just going to play it cool and hang out with my kids this weekend. Police to me, it ain’t ever really no peace – I don’t need security. Police is police. So they’re going to do what they do. You got some officers out there that do things straight by the book and you got some that don’t play right and the ones that don’t play right, I don’t f*ck with them.” (TMZ)
