West Coast rapper Game has offered up some words in light of the publicized legal woes his one-time manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond has found himself in as of late.

Along with speaking on Jimmy, the Compton native also touched on ex-boss 50 Cent taking viral jabs.

“I talked to Jimmy via text, in the prison system, he’s optimisic,” Game said in an interview. “All I do is pray for him, tell him to hold his head and wish him the best in the situation. It’s a very unfortunate situation, ’cause like me and you know, Jimmy’s one of the best dudes – throughout life we make decisions, choices, out here it’s a jungle. You gotta survive and he did what he had to do, whatever that may have been at that time. … Shout-out to Jimmy H. [50 Cent’s disses?] Uh, you know, he ain’t got nothing else to do. You know? Them energy drinks, you drink enough of them sh*ts and you’ll be rambling too. I’m not really tripping off dude with that old sh*t. I’m just getting my money, man, and doing my sh*t.” (“Tim Westwood TV”)

According to recent reports, a mistrial was determined in Rosemond’s G-Unit affiliate murder case.

A judge has declared a mistrial in the murder case of a hip-hop promoter already serving a life sentence for smuggling cocaine. U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon made the ruling Friday in Manhattan federal court after the jury said it was deadlocked. Federal prosecutors had charged James Rosemond and Rodney Johnson in the 2009 shooting death of Lowell Fletcher, an associate of G-Unit. They say the killing was payback for an assault on Rosemond’s son. Rosemond’s lawyer had argued the witnesses against him were unreliable. (Billboard)

Recently, Fif released a video taunting the jailed Unit rival onto his Instagram.

“I’m up watch the jimmy henchmen trial MOVIE. Lol he did a a good job in this one. LMAO,” Fif wrote as a caption to his video. “What’s up, I’m up. 6:30 in the morning, getting my hair cut, watching a movie. Check this sh*t out, the Henchman trial. No Jimmy, you rat b*stard!’ [laughs]” (50 Cent’s Instagram)

A few weeks ago, 50 jumped onto his Instagram page and likened Rosemond to a fictional character off 1998’s Belly flick.

“LMAO THIS BOY SOLVED EVERY CRIME IN NEW YORK. Old gangsta jimmy,go a head tell some more sh*t killer. Lol,” Fif tweeted on February 15. (50 Cent’s Instagram)
