G.O.O.D. Music leader Kanye West has the Internet buzzing this week courtesy of a couple revamped and mixed songs.

Yeezy’s audio gems premiered online Monday (October 19) afternoon.

The first is a reworking of the 808s & Heartbreak song “Say You Will” featuring Caroline Shaw, a composer who happens to be the youngest person to win a Pulitzer Prize for music, while the second is Kanye’s version of the Weeknd’s “Tell Your Friends,” which Kanye produced for Beauty Behind the Madness. Though it’s not clear whether or not these songs will be on SWISH, they do at least give Yeezy fans hope that SWISH might actually happen one day. (Cosmopolitan)

Kanye recently talked about piecing together his new “Fade” song and long-awaited studio album, SWISH.

“We had a couple options and I just thought it sounded good against the people. For the 40 theaters across the globe, for the kids that all went to see it in theaters, I thought they’d be happy to hear some new music. I’ve been doing that [making a new album] too. That’s like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting. That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete. But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting,” Kanye explained. “It’s ‘currently’ called Swish. I’m forgetting even what the last name of it was now.” (Vanity Fair)

Last month, producer Mike Dean acknowledged Kanye would solely determine when his upcoming SWISH album was ready for the masses.

“Nothing, really, it’s in progress,” Dean revealed when asked what he knew about Ye’s new album. “[Will it come out in 2015?] I have no idea. It just depends. Whenever Kanye says it’s done, it’s done.” (Montreality)

Recently, rapper Q-Tip talked about being attached to Kanye’s upcoming SWISH album with veteran producer Rick Rubin.

“Yeah, Rick and I were gonna do the record, and Kanye went through different phases musically, so we’ve yet to reconnect on his project. We’ve met a few times and he’s kept me up to speed here and there on what’s happening. He’s done the same with my record. We’ve been talking about some ideas for my record as well. We’re still in step. It’s not like [Kanye] scrapped any of it, that’s a rumor.” (Billboard)
