Atlanta rap star Future is reportedly not sweating bullets over a publicized $15 million lawsuit filed against him from ex-fiancée Ciara this week.
According to reports, the hip-hop heavyweight believes CiCi has dissed him in her own music.
Sources close to Future tell TMZ, the rapper thinks it’s absurd his baby mama filed the slander suit, since she’s talked plenty of trash on him. We’re told he believes Exhibit A is her 2015 platinum selling hit, “I Bet.” With lyrics like … “You know that it hurts your pride but you thought the grass was greener on the other side. I bet you start loving me as soon as I start loving someone else. Somebody better than you” — the song is widely believed to be about Future allegedly cheating on Ciara. (TMZ)
Talk show host Wendy Williams fired a shot at Ciara over the publicized lawsuit this week.
“You know I love you but I gotta pa-pow! You know, I’m a straight shooter, I always have been. Ciara, Future’s not the reason your music hasn’t sold and Future’s also not the reason you got that lucrative contract…” (“The Wendy Williams Show”)

Buzz about Ciara’s legal war against Future bubbled online yesterday (February 9).
In the suit … obtained by TMZ, Ciara calls out Future for a radio interview in which he discussed a now infamous photo of Wilson pushing Ciara and Future’s son in his stroller. Ciara believes Future’s comments were said with malice. She’s suing for slander and libel, wants all his nasty tweets deleted, and wants him blocked from saying anything about private family matters regarding baby Future … in the future. (TMZ)
Recent reports claimed Ciara had no issues with Future seeing their son.
UPDATE: A source close to Ciara tells E! News exclusively that the “I Bet” singer has never prevented Future from seeing his son and that he does not and has not paid $15,000 in child support. “Future has told her he hopes she fails in everything she does and that’s just being evil,” our insider shared. “He is unable to move on and co-parent in a healthy way.” (E!
