Atlanta rapper Future has no ill will toward rumored rap foe Meek Mill amid the hip-hop artist’s publicized feud with Young Money’s Drake this past summer.

Despite releasing a joint effort with Drizzy this week, Future dished on his love for both hip-hop stars in a new interview.

“On some real sh*t, I love Meek. And the Drake situation, I feel like genuinely we’ve been building a great relationship over these years. We got history together. We went on a few tours together so it was like, publicly, some things was said and it was took out of context. We put it all behind us, went on a sold-out tour and we built from that and I feel like it’s genuine, it’s authentic, and we built trust between each other.” (XXL)

Reports this week suggested Future may have singled out Meek on his new song “Big Rings.”

Drake’s OVO Sound Radio is currently premiering their highly anticipated collaborative album, What a Time To Be Alive. A few songs in, some listeners on Twitter caught what could be a subliminal diss by Future towards Meek Mill on “Big Rings.” He raps, “You just a battle rapper, I’m an official trapper,” which could be interpreted as him choosing Drizzy’s side in their ongoing feud. Drizzy may have busted off a shot at Meek on the song “30 For 30 Freestyle.”

“30 For 30 Freestyle” is the final track on Drake’s new mixtape with Future, and fans are going crazy over the alleged disses toward Meek. Weeks after their highly-publicized feud, the 28-year-old raps, “I say hats off for a solid effort/but we didn’t flinch for a second/we got our s–t together/ yeah, not here to fight wars.” Is he saying that Meek’s effort was commendable, but wasn’t quite enough to win the war?! Reports claimed the Toronto rapper may have also went at Meek on his “Change Locations” anthem.

“F–k all the opps and the shots that they send / I let off first then I let off again / You may not hear from them ever again” Drake references how he dropped a diss track, then another. He follows that up by suggesting that fans might never hear from Meek Mill again. (Fansided)
