Atlanta rapper Future, Usher and Bryson Tiller are all billed to perform at this month’s highly-anticipated 2016 BET Awards.
According to a new press release, the trio will all take center stage at the annual televised ceremony.
Today, BET Networks revealed that Usher, Future and Bryson Tiller will join the ultra-talented line-up of performers at the 16th annual “BET Awards” 2016 on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, the “BET Awards” will also include previously announced performances by Alicia Keys and Maxwell.
During the broadcast, musicians The Roots, D’Angelo, Janelle Monae and Sheila E. are expected to honor late icon Prince.
Today, BET Networks announced that Sheila E., The Roots, D’Angelo and Janelle Monae are the first artists named to be part of a special musical celebration paying homage to legendary artist, Prince, at the 2016 “BET Awards.” The star-studded moments, spread throughout the show, will capture the unprecedented career and musical genius of the beloved pop icon like only BET can. The 2016 “BET Awards” will air LIVE on Sunday, June 26 at 8pmET from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on BET.

Rap superstar Drake leads the upcoming annual ceremony with nearly 10 nominations.
Drake handily leads the list of nominees for the 2016 BET Awards with nine nods. Tying for second place are Beyoncé , last year’s big winner, and Rihanna with five nominations, each. Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown and Future are each up for four awards. (Forbes)
