Days after welcoming his newborn son Future Zahir Wilburn into the world, rapper Future has weighed in on being a new father and having a baby with fellow music star Ciara. #DiaperDuties

According to Future, the new mom is already adjusting to motherhood after Future Jr.’s birth.

“She’s feeling great,” the new father, 30, told Us of the “I’m Out” singer, 28. (He spoke to reporters at the Bacardi Rum and Vice Celebrate Cuban Independence Day in NYC on Tuesday, May 20, where he had committed to perform.) “She’s with our son right now [in L.A.],” the rapper-producer added. “I just texted her when I got off the airplane, and I’m going to get on the phone with her to see how everything is going.” (Us Magazine)

The 30-year-old stud also admitted he would get down with some diaper duties.

“I want him to be better than me,” Future (nee Nayvadius D. Wilburn) said of his second child. (The rapper has an 11-year-old son with model Jessica Smith.) “I would encourage him in anything he wants to do,” Future said. “I want to be behind him, of course.” (Us Magazine)

Although she did not reveal the baby’s body, CiCi did post a portion of her son onto Instagram Tuesday (May 20).

According to reports, the engaged music duo welcomed their first child together Monday (May 19).

Ciara is officially a mom. Sources say the “Body Party” singer gave birth very early Monday morning in Los Angeles. The baby boy is the first for Ciara, who is engaged to rapper Future and expected to marry him in the fall. Future has three other children from previous relationships. (Page Six)
