It’s always a good thing when you have your license or ID on you at any given moment. Turns out Rita Ora’s rockstar boyfriend Andrew Watt felt the wrath of mistaken identity at Avant Gardner in the Big Apple – but fortunately this mix-up has a happy ending. Inside sources have the info:

This past weekend, Rita Ora partied with A$AP Rocky, and models Constance Jablonski, Megan May Williams and Jessica Hart at a rave at Avant Gardner, a former warehouse in Brooklyn. Famed Berlin DJ Dixon was spinning for more than 5,000 EDM lovers throughout the night.
Co-founders of NYC hotspot Provocateur Michael Satsky and Brian Gefter were running the VIP section, and according to Satsky, Rita Ora’s rocker boyfriend Andrew Watt suffered from a case of mistaken identity – He was kicked out of the VIP section after security saw him at a nearby table but didn’t realize he was with Ora! Witnesses said it was embarrassing, but the snafu was straightened out quickly and he returned after apologies from management.
