Hot 97’s Funk Flex is ready to bury the hatchet. The hip-hop semi-bully has announced he’s making amends on his past issues with rap rookie Lil Yachty.
Funk Flex went to Instagram Friday (March 9) to tease fans with a Yachty freestyle preview and promised to deliver the full clip next week.
Earlier this month, Yachty responded to Flex publicly naming “wack” rappers.
D@mn! 📸 @funkflex really went there and called out @lilpump @NICKIMINAJ @G_Eazy 😮 😬 💥 pic.twitter.com/aDkyl3giTw

The same day, Dipset’s Juelz Santana publicly co-signed rap mogul Diddy’s heartfelt clip by reposting it onto his IG page.
“So many people rapping right now. I love it. It is literally too much. It’s a lot to take in everyday. Everybody saying the same sh*t in different ways. It’s just my opinion. I’m not knocking nobody’s dream. I just don’t want the culture to get diluted where it gets so mass produced it doesn’t mean anything. Artists have to be special. Every artist has to be unique. I’m just trying to say if you’re going to be in this game be great because you can also be a part of the noise. All you inspiring rappers out there and R&B artists and singers and dancers, keep doing your thing. Be special.”
This week, Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Migos celebrated Yachty’s new Lil Boat 2 album release.
