Bad Boy Records’ French Montana has come forward to thank fans for their support and prayers since the passing of his longtime friend/protégé Chinx last weekend.
Montana hopped onto his Instagram page and acknowledged the support aimed at him this week.

The late rapper’s funeral arrangements were announced Thursday (May 21).
Following news of his passing, rap star Jay Z spoke out on Chinx’s death and the importance of stopping violence.
“A young man got killed in Queens,” Hov said referring to Chinx. “His name was Chinx. And um, I think it’s real important for us, like, I can’t understand that we’re seriously under attack like never before. Like, never before. Rest in Peace to Chinx and we’re still killing each other. We need to understand that we are kings and queens.” (Miss Info)
