Bad Boy Entertainment’s French Montana has revealed his involvement in having longtime rap pal Max B added to rap star Kanye West‘s new The Life Of Pablo album.

Montana boasted about Max’s placement on Ye’s “Silver Surfer Intermission” track Sunday (February 14).

Recently, Max phoned into New York radio station Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” to address the viral chatter about Kanye initially naming his album Waves, a reference he made popular in hip-hop.

“Nah, not really. It’s love, it’s all love. I appreciate it, I’m flattered dude is even acknowledging the situation, it’s all gravy. Everybody knows I’m an innovator, everybody knows I got an imagination, I come up with these words and these slogans and these catchphrases and it’s all good. When the people follow suit, it’s all good. I appreciate it. I love it. Thank-you. We don’t have a relationship, I never met him. I feel like he got it from the atmosphere and the atmosphere got it from me. It’s all good. I feel that’s what art’s about. We take things from each other – it’s all good. He ain’t drop a diss record, he just called his album Waves.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Max B enthusiast Wiz Khalifa pleaded with Kanye to reconsider the Waves album title last month.
