Hip-hop heavyweight French Montana says Kodak Black keeps it strictly business. During a chat with radio veteran Big Boy, he shared a serious yet hilarious story about shooting the "Lockjaw" video together.
French Tells
When asked who was the most difficult to work with, French took no time to answer with the Florida rapper’s name.
“Definitely probably Kodak. Not difficult, but it just, my boy, he’s about that life. It was just, me and him didn’t have one conversation while shooting the [‘Lockjaw’] video, he just growled at me. But that’s my dawg.”

Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign is fed up with French. The drill movement staple took to Instagram Live to go off on the Bad Boy Records artist, who recently released the drill-influenced track “That’s A Fact.” Fellow drill rapper Mr Swipey is featured in the song’s music video as a background dancer to which Fivio didn’t take too well. He ripped French, accusing him of using drill beats and sounds but not caring enough to actually make music with drill rappers to help put them on.
“French Montana wilding, n***a. He gonna have Swipey dancing and spinning in every video like he some type of back up dancer. You ain’t ’bout to be using drill beats and having n****s spinning. Put that n***a on a song or something like that. N****s like Meek, Drake – n****s like that. Them n****s putting on,” Fivio said. “Them n****s is doing songs with n****s. Them n****s is sharing n****s’ posts. … I see n****s trying to be down trying to do what n****s do. Cool, I’m not mad. Do what n****s do. But at the end of the day, put on for n****s.”

Montana recently drew controversy went he went to his social media pages to put big respect on his hit-making capabilities in comparison to rap star Kendrick Lamar.

Kodak just got brutalised you dead wrong for that french. Even tho Kodak been outta line don’t mean being battered yet again by guards is ok. Plus unlike asap it’s not lies it’s facts, the brutality.
Rubio is wrong cuz Mr swipey is adult and if he being exploited n abused by French he can defend himself. But actually swipey looking very happy how french treating him.
French correct his “anthems” he has more of in terms of popularity for dancing in club having fun. It’s critics etc who over-stan Kendrick. He has no quotables, punchlines, fun nor charisma. But that not Kendricks lane. His lane is “serious Grammy boring ass overrated genuis” lane not “have fun” lane.
Y was entire music industry campaigning for asap rocky to be released but silent bout Kodak, Wen Kodak been beaten many times n treated overall way worse ? Ion understand forreal.
