In Montana’s perspective, the pressure of putting out his first official studio release under Bad Boy slightly held down the LP’s potential.

“I’m about 75 songs in,” he said. “Probably like 12, 14. So, just putting ‘em together. I feel like the Excuse My French album was more dedicated to being, you know, your first deal you try to do something, something for them,” Montana explained. “You ain’t really like took what got you to this point to make the album. Not saying it’s not a good album. It’s the best album I could have made at that time. But I also had this Mac & Cheese series that I was doing that I wanted to do an album just like that. So, that was the difference between this one and that one.” (Complex)

French confirmed this rap superstar’s involvement on his new LP right here…

Montana confirmed rap star Kanye West‘s efforts on his official sophomore studio release and co-signed his greatness a few weeks ago.

He has been in the studio with Khloe’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, who is executive producing Mac & Cheese. “Kanye was somebody that I was supposed to sign with when I first came in the game,” said French. “I have nothing but respect for him. He’s a legend, he’s an icon. I just feel like he has that Mac & Cheese sound, that soul food sound.” (Rap-Up)

Although the song’s title remains unknown, Montana provided a 12-second snippet of a Kanye anthem via Instagram back in July.

“Cooking up new Kanye x Montana prod. @foreign_tech #bang #CB,” Montana captioned to his video July 9. (French Montana’s Instagram)

While the LP is not due until November, Montana recently said he had actively pieced together his long-awaited Mac & Cheese studio release.

“[It will be] Mac & Cheese, and it’s like a follow up to all my mix tapes that I had. I got Kanye on the album, I got will.i.am on the album, I’ve got Durk on the album and Chinx,” he revealed. And what’s it been like working with Yeezy? “I love it — we’ve been working on his album and mines so we’re just going back and forth.” So far, French says that they’ve banked about five tracks, and it seems like we’ll be hearing the first one on his project. 1. Dude is trash. point blank. Everyone can say his mix tapes were dope but lyrically this dude is trash. anyone defending him doesn’t know hip hop

  2. Can’t blame Diddy on this one … trash lyrics are trash lyrics.

Maybe spend a little less time Kardashian hopping and more time grinding in the studio.
