According to Montana, the long-awaited solo effort is slated to arrive on December 16.

“Yeah, I’m fully completed,” French said when asked about the album’s progress. “Right now I’m just trying to clear a sample. I got Harry Fraud. He did the whole joint. I’m just trying to clear a sample right now. They’re saying December 16 for now. The label. [laughs]” (“Sway In The Morning”)

Montana recently confirmed rap star Kanye West‘s efforts on his official sophomore studio release and co-signed his greatness a few weeks ago.

He has been in the studio with Khloe’s brother-in-law, Kanye West, who is executive producing Mac & Cheese. “Kanye was somebody that I was supposed to sign with when I first came in the game,” said French. “I have nothing but respect for him. He’s a legend, he’s an icon. I just feel like he has that Mac & Cheese sound, that soul food sound.” (Rap-Up)

Although the song’s title remained unknown, Montana provided a 12-second snippet of a Kanye anthem via Instagram back in July.

“Cooking up new Kanye x Montana prod. @foreign_tech #bang #CB,” Montana captioned to his video July 9. (French Montana’s Instagram)

While the LP is not due until later this fall, Montana recently said he had actively pieced together his long-awaited Mac & Cheese studio release.

“[It will be] Mac & Cheese, and it’s like a follow up to all my mix tapes that I had. I got Kanye on the album, I got will.i.am on the album, I’ve got Durk on the album and Chinx,” he revealed. And what’s it been like working with Yeezy? “I love it — we’ve been working on his album and mines so we’re just going back and forth.” So far, French says that they’ve banked about five tracks, and it seems like we’ll be hearing the first one on his project.
