Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs is all about the mamba mentality when he steps into the recording booth. The Midwest rap artist hits up his Instagram page to share a sneak peek at his new studio. Fred also reveals some interior design inspired and compared to late NBA icon Kobe Bryant‘s “mamba mentality” mantra.

Outside of churning new music, the hip-hop star briefly engaged in a back and forth clashing with former business affiliate Jeezy. Tensions ultimately rose when the Snowman dragged Freddie on his new “Therapy For My Soul” song off the Recession 2 album.

Instead of staying mum, Gibbs willingly struck back at the Atlanta native. Fred did everything from let loose some past Black Mafia Family rumors involving Jeezy to suggesting he knows the last solid album he put out before “falling” off.
