Odd Future‘s Frank Ocean is making sure Donald Trump knows he’s not here for him. The singer went to social media this weekend to give the 45th president a reality check.
Ocean resorted to his Tumblr page Saturday (January 21) with an open message aimed at Trump about how sickened he is with his presence in the White House.
Yesterday, music stars T.I. and Tyrese threw shade at Trump over his attendee turnout not matching President Barack Obama‘s 2009 inauguration numbers.
Since yesterday, the Internet has exploded with similar comparison shots.
A slurry of photos posted on Twitter appear to show a smaller number of people than have been pictured at the presidential inaugurations of 2009 and 2013. BuzzFeed also posted a series of photo comparisons, juxtaposing images of the inaugural crowds on Friday and in years past at hourly intervals throughout the morning. Crowds on the National Mall were thin for President Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday compared with those for President Barack Obama eight years ago, CBS News’ Scott Pelley noted. To top the record-setting turnout at Barack Obama’s first inauguration in 2009, the crowd on the day of would have had to surpass an estimated 1.8 million people. But aerial shots taken during both inaugural events show a much smaller audience for President Trump. (CBS Local)
