Foxy Brown Suffers Nasty Fall During NY Concert [Video]

Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown is experiencing a bumpy return back to the hip-hop spotlight, literally, after tumbling on-stage during a New York City concert last night (June 28).

Footage of Foxy’s live mishap has started to circulate across the Internet.

Foxy Brown took the stage for NYC Pride last night at El morocco rocking her tie dye long locks and dipped in Fendi and Chanel looking Good! Fox debuted her upcoming ‘Bandz Up’ single and took a little fall right in the middle! I know it’s going to be jokes about the fall but just remember that even Beyonce once took a fall! Foxy recently made headlines when she discussed R&B singer Lauryn Hill preparing to start a three-month prison sentence.

“This is definite? My girl Lauryn is about to go to jail? What a lot of people don’t know is me and Lauryn had a lot of late night talks. Yes, yes. My blood cousin is one of Lauryn’s best friends,” Foxy explained in an interview. “She’s one of the ones besides Jay that said, ‘I don’t want you to change that dancehall hip-hop. Please don’t ever change that. I need that, I need that, I need that.’ I told her, ‘I need you. We’re the two dark skin [stars]. We’re the ones that kicked the door down. I need ‘you’ to be okay.’ Lauryn, whoa, that just kind of, wow. I’m definitely going to call her. Definitely.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)

Brown also recalled having to serve nearly an entire year in jail back in 2008.

“You can’t prepare for going into commissary with 400 other girls, having two outfits for the entire year, two jail suits. You’re shackled like criminals. This is real. We were shackled. When you’re going to a visit, you have to be completely shackled. Literally, it’s, oh Lord. Wow. [Did anyone step to me in jail?] No — the girls loved me. I had the one or two CO’s that’d hate because I had a million letters and then they would [do random searches] and go through every letter. Stuff like that.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)

The rapper reportedly turned into a no-show for fellow BK emcee Fabolous‘ scheduled Hot 97 Summer Jam set earlier this month.

Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim both touched the stage at Summer Jam XX on Sunday. While Nicki was a guest of 2 Chainz, Lil’ Kim had MetLife Stadium buzzing when she surprised during Fabolous’ set. The Queen Bee performed “Queen Bitch” off her debut Hard Core. “When we talk about the ni**as who be killin’ it from Brooklyn, it was only right that we got the queen out here,” said Fab. There were also rumors that Foxy Brown was supposed to appear during Loso’s set, but she was running late. (Rap-Up)
