Hollywood star Will Smith‘s “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” reboot might happen. New reports claim there is growing buzz about a potential remake of everyone’s favorite 90’s TV show.
According to reports, a “Fresh Princess” series could turn into a reality with a female-starring lead.
The company that owns the rights to ‘Fresh Prince’ filed a few trademark applications seeking to lock down rights to “Fresh Princess” for a television program and virtually every other media platform. They’re also looking to trademark the “Fresh Princess” on a bunch of merch — including bags, backpacks, animal collars and, of course, lots of clothing and footwear. (TMZ)
In March 2017, former “Fresh Prince” actress Janet “Aunt Viv” Hubert dished out her issues with ex co-star Alphonso Ribeiro.
A day prior, Ribeiro raised eyebrows with a decked-out reunion pic.
In 2016, “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Will Smith addressed Hubert’s past issues toward the show.
“I think that both of the Aunt Viv’s were really really fantastic. I think when you make a show, any time that you make a change it’s going to be excruciating and painful. I think that Janet Hubert brought a really powerful dignity to the show. I think she’s brilliant. I think as an artist there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. I loved what she brought to the ‘Fresh Prince.'” (BBC Radio 1Xtra)
Please don’t ruin it by making it Fresh Princess…that’s the worst idea ever.
