Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is down to fight Conor McGregor. But it’s going to take some simple math on UFC president Dana White‘s behalf.

In a new interview, Floyd said people in power like White just need to see how much he’d made from his past fights to come up with an appropriate offer.

“The best thing to do is look at how much money Conor McGregor has made, then look how much money Floyd Mayweather has made, and then we can make the fight happen. [Do I want that fight?] I’m a businessman when it’s all said and done. Absolutely.”

A few days ago, UFC president Dana White lashed back at Floyd dissing his $25 million fight offer.

“First of all, Floyd thinks he’s so much bigger than Conor, he’s wrong. Listen, Floyd’s gone undefeated for 20 years. I give him all the credit in the world for doing that – Conor’s been around for 3 or 4 years, for him to think he’s a much bigger star than Conor isn’t true and I’m not gonna pay him way more money than my guy. … Let me tell you what, we all know $25 million isn’t peanuts and so does he. He’s hanging his watch out the window, his watch is the problem. Okay? When you’re wearing a watch that’s $250,000, you’re gonna need $25 million real quick. Hey Floyd, taxes are coming up too, buddy. The IRS is gonna be all over you pal. Floyd said he made an offer. He never made an offer. It’s not true. I made an offer. Okay? So if you’re serious, there’s a real offer. Where do we go from here, Floyd?” (TMZ Sports)

A few days ago, Floyd ripped Dana for publicly offering him $25 million to lace up against McGregor.

Floyd Mayweather is shooting down Dana White’s $25 MILLION offer to fight Conor McGregor … saying simply, “You’re a f**king comedian!” Earlier Friday, White appeared on ‘The Herd’ on FS1 and made the official offer for the fight — $25 mil each plus part of the Pay-Per-View profits. Floyd was clearly INSULTED by the offer and told us to look at his watch … a limited edition Hublot Laferrari which usually starts around $220k and can run up to around $350k. (TMZ)

Last week, Mayweather’s pal 50 Cent vowed to make the headline-generating potential bout happen.
