Floyd Mayweather Defends Nate Robinson
The undefeated boxing legend went to his Instagram page to share a throwback shot of himself posted up alongside Nate. Floyd also acknowledged social media’s wrath against Robinson following his Saturday night bout.
“Nate, Iβm proud of you and I will always stand behind all my brothers. I will never kick my brother when heβs down. Itβs ok for people to voice their opinions on social media, but no black athletes or black entertainers, especially black NBA players should make a mockery out of you. We are supposed to all stand with each other through the good, bad and ugly. Iβm here to uplift you and let you know we all love you and congratulate you for just making an effort. SIDENOTE: The times Iβve had issues with another brother is when they came at me first. I was just defending myself.” -Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Instagram

No Chance
Despite the perception, Robinson couldn’t last but a couple rounds going up against Jake Paul. Even with a ripped and diesel body, Nate still took an L at the hands of JP.
In one of the strangest sporting events of 2020, YouTube star Jake Paul faced off against former NBA dunk contest champion Nate Robinson in a celebrity boxing match β and Robinsonβs first boxing match couldnβt have gone worse. Paul had a significant size advantage and some previous experience in the ring, and he completely outmatched Robinson in an amateurish, wild bout. Paul dropped Robinson in the first round, and then knocked him out cold with a right hand that caused Robinson to faceplant into the mat. (USA Today)
