R&B singer R. Kelly can’t even walk his dog in peace anymore. New reports claim federal agents arrested the controversial musician this week on new sex crime charges.

According to reports, the bust went down last night as Kells went for a stroll with man’s best friend.

Kelly, 52, is charged with sex trafficking in New York and attempting to influence a case in Atlanta, and was arrested while walking his dog, a source with knowledge of the arrest said. A five-count indictment against Kelly will be unsealed Friday in the Eastern District of New York, a source with that district’s US attorney’s office told CNN. Kelly will appear in federal court in Brooklyn at a later date, the source said. (CNN)

Some reports claim Kells is possibly dealing with charges including child pornography.

“R Kelly was arrested in Chicago tonight on charges contained in a 13-count indictment returned today in the Northern District of Illinois,” the attorney’s office said in a statement late Thursday. “The indictment includes charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice.” It is not clear as of yet what other charges are included in either indictment. Kelly is expected to make a court appearance as early as today.

U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman Joseph Fitzpatrick said the R&B singer was taken into custody about 7 p.m. local time and was being held by federal authorities. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, Kelly is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, Chicago. There are separate federal indictments filed in both Chicago and Brooklyn, according to a senior law enforcement official, and a court appearance in Chicago could come later Friday. It is expected he will ultimatley be brought to New York to face additional charges. (NBC New York)
