R&B singer Faith Evans is pointing the finger at a marriage license bureau clerk for making a B.I.G. mistake. The newly married crooner wants no blame for leaving out her first husband Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace from her new marriage license.
According to Evans, the clerk messed up putting together the paperwork and didn’t acknowledge her first marriage.
TMZ’s obtained a copy of Faith’s marriage license docs and in it she lists her marriage to Stevie J as marriage no. 2. The document references her divorce from Todd Russaw back in 2012, and that’s the other marriage. As you know, Faith and Biggie — labelmates with Bad Boy Records — tied the knot back in August of 1994 within days of meeting each other. They separated shortly before his 1997 murder. Faith tells us the clerk at the marriage license bureau screwed up. She insists she told the clerk the marriage with Stevie was her 3rd. Evans adds, “Biggie was my first true love, he will always be acknowledged as such. Everyone knows he was my husband.” (TMZ)
Last week, Evans addressed people having a personal issue with her sudden marriage to producer Stevie J.

A few days ago, a 20-year-old Instagram user named @thebossputa_ accused Stevie of impregnating her in a series of since-deleted posts.
“Lol I hope this time it’s a real marriage and since you getting married I hope faith can help you on some of those child support debts because YOUR ( our ) child will be here in October , and hunny I know this marriage is scam because you got all types of hoes living with you and @therealfaithevans you ain’t the only one hunny , it’s sad that your almost 50 & still getting played like a fiddle , u done got married to a man that got SEVERAL BABYMAMAS AND LIKE THE BOOTY , Yeah he dont want no p*ssy , biggie is turnin over in his grave you should be ashamed of yourself #steviej #leaveittostevie #ratface#mastersplinter #harmonyjordan”
According to the latest reports, Stevie and Faith made their lifetime goals permanent last Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
According to docs, the singer and producer filed for the license in Clark County on Tuesday. The clock’s now running, they have one year to tie the knot. But it seems like they won’t need that long — Stevie tweeted Tuesday, “I love you Faith Renee Jordan,” and Faith replied, “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.” UPDATE – 9:55 AM PT — It’s a wrap … Faith and Stevie have already done the deed. Multiple sources at the ceremony confirm they tied the knot in their hotel room Tuesday night … around 10:30 PM. (TMZ)
