Brooklyn rap veteran Fabolous' new The Young OG Project album narrowly missed landing on the Top 10 sales chart with over 70,000 sold copies in its opening week.
Falling behind country star Taylor Swift‘s 1989 and Nicki Minaj‘s The Pinkprint, Fab’s newest effort landed at No. 12.
No albums debut in the Billboard 200’s new top 10, and there are just two new entries on the entire chart. Fabolous’ The Young OG Project is the list’s highest bow, at No. 12 (71,000 units). (Billboard)

The new project’s artwork emerged across the ‘net in mid-December.
Fabolous has unveiled the cover art for his sixth album The Young OG Project. Loso and Emily B.’s six-year-old son Johan takes his seat on a gold throne on the ’90s-inspired artwork, which he texted to fans who entered their cell number into his virtual beeper. (Rap-Up)
Good first week sales for Fab. 70,000 sold not bad when now days people arent buying albums anymore especially black folks. Black folks dont support artist anymore,they will bootleg instead!! Fab sold more than the long awaited Wu Tang!!!
