Brooklyn rap veteran Fabolous recently talked about his new The Young OG Project album and dished on the importance of pushing quality over sales.
According to Fab, he put more focus into overall content instead of just making radio-friendly hits.
“With this project, I’m not looking at numbers or thinking that you got to have singles. It’s a different time in music. All the conventional ways of doing things are old, and you don’t need to do anything that way again. You need to find new ways to spark people’s interest.” (Billboard)

Cool, cuz singles always hurt the overall album. Especially Fab, love his bars but hate his radio shit
that’s why he doesn’t have classic albums,,this may be the first for fabo
That first album was really good. If not for 9/11 or the fact it was dropped at the same time as the Blueprint, I think some would view Ghetto Fabolous as a classic album.
Plz listen to Soul Tape 3 u won’t b disappointed it’s super classic from beginning to end
First complete album by Fab..all his albums has a lot of hype and then Im let down with the song selection this one was good
well he got hella hot mixtapes,,I meant a proper classic album,, a lil too much radio pandering which he said he left off this album should do the trick
