New York rapper Fabolous let sleep get the best of him this week. The hip-hop veteran has blamed zzz’s for having him miss a Scorpion album listening session in Florida.

Fab went to Instagram last night (June 30) to dish on missing Drake’s party but still delivered an epic co-sign on his new LP.

Since dropping Friday, Drake’s new album has crushed huge streaming records on Apple Music and Spotify.

On the new album, Drake hints at his contractual obligation with Cash Money possibly ending.

Birdman was quoted in 2015 telling Angie Martinez that Drake and Nicki Minaj would remain with Cash Money even if Lil Wayne parted ways with the label, but at this point it seems like the Toronto rapper has found a way out. While the exact details aren’t known, the last song on the A-side of Scorpion (“Is There More”) is perfectly clear with the lyrics “Soon as this album drop I’m out of the deal”. (SOHH)

This week, Drake’s dad Dennis Graham hyped up the Scorpion performance numbers.
