New York rapper Fabolous made sure to leave his footprint on Halloween 2017. The hip-hop veteran has blessed social media with his family’s hilarious attire for Devil’s Night.
Early Wednesday, Fab hit up Instagram with an epic shot of his crew dressed up as Fox’s “Family Guy” characters.
Outside of Halloween, Fab and longtime pal Jadakiss teased fans with their new “Stand Up” single.
In January, Fab came forward to discuss the multiple setbacks behind their joint effort.
“We just take our time because we want it to be right because of the magnitude of the project means for hip-hop and New York City hip-hop. Also, we have samples that need to be cleared. Even the licensing thing with using the names Freddy and Jason. In this generation, soon as you say a project is coming, the people want it right away. We try to give people a little bit of the process through social media and Instagram. We’ll show pictures of a studio session with producers like Just Blaze or Harry Fraud. I thought that would be cool because in the ‘90s there were big collaborations, but there was no social media. There’s no pictures of Biggie in the studio with Bone Thugs and that’s something you would’ve wanted to see. Now, we get to do that with social media.” (Complex)
Earlier the same month, Fab hinted at the possibility of their project arriving at the start of 2017.
“Freddy Vs. Jason is on the way. We were trying to put it out next month in January, but we gonna drop something to go into it. I don’t want to give the whole thing, but we’re gonna drop something next month. Yeah, yeah. Low-key, Friday the 13th is next month. That’s all I’m gonna say. January 13 is a Friday. That’s all I’m gonna say. I know I shouldn’t have said that. That’s one of the projects that’s having a little sample [issue]. We might not be able to use – let me stop.” (Power 106 KMEL)
