[With the new smash hit xXx: Return of Xander Cage finally at theaters nationwide, extreme sports legend Kareem Campbell talks to SOHH about getting pumped to see pal Vin Diesel bring live action to the big screen again.]
With the xXx movies, it’s always action-packed. A lot of the stunts are related to extreme sports from the scene with Vin Diesel on a bike to the skateboarding.
There’s a perfect synergy for myself and my shop and everything else.
Before the movie came out, I watched the trailer and really looked into it. I pretty much have been watching xXx since 2002 to [2005’s] xXx: State of the Union and up through now. I’ve always followed it.
Vin Diesel’s a good friend. It’s good to see him back on the big screen.
Anything that’s skate-related is always something that catches my eye. This shows the progression of skateboarding. So I’m always loving that.
Even with Vin Diesel going down the hillside. A lot of the stunts, period, are action-packed. Everything about it and every minute, something wild is about to happen. I’m pretty much open to the whole movie.
I’m just hyped about it.
