OVO Sound boss Drake looks like he might have some guest weatherman goals in mind. The 6 God has hit up social media to acknowledge the brick af weather the East Coast has experienced this spring.
Drizzy went to Instagram Monday (April 16) with a couple real pics about the weather conditions around Toronto.
This past weekend, Drake honored the lives of Humboldt Broncos players following a recent fatal bus crash.
A week after a Saskatchewan semi-truck accident that claimed the lives of 15 athletes and coaches riding on the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team bus, one of Canada’s biggest names has used one of sports’ biggest stages to honor the victims. Drake, a court-side celebrity guest at Saturday’s Game 1 between the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards, showed up wearing none other than a Broncos hockey jersey, as documented by TSN, Sporting News and other outlets. The 6 God also went to his Instagram page to celebrate his Toronto Raptors’ big win and pay homage to the Humboldt Broncos.
After the crash went down, the Toronto Raptors issued a statement.
“Thinking of the Humboldt Broncos and our friends in the hockey community at this terrible time. From Toronto to the Prairies, our thoughts and prayers are with you.” As of Saturday evening, a GoFundMe campaign set up in the team’s honor had raised over $11 million. (USA Today)
