While details are still scarce, the rapper-turned-actress will reportedly co-star in a couple of episodes this fall.

Eve has just inked a deal to appear in two episodes of the Fox musical Glee as a no-nonsense girls’ choir director from a rival school, sources confirm to me exclusively. As I previously reported, “Glee” producers were considering Whitney Houston for the part. But when she turned it down, Eve stepped up. (Entertainment Weekly)

The Fox network show centers on a teacher trying to train a down-and-out Glee Club.

From Ryan Murphy, the creator of “Nip/Tuck” and “Popular,” comes “Glee,” a one-hour musical comedy that follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of all: Nationals. Will Schuester, a young optimistic teacher, has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring McKinley’s Glee Club to its former glory. Everyone around him thinks he’s nuts. He’s out to prove them all wrong. (Fox)

She is also set to make a return to the big screen in the upcoming film Whip It!.

Eve will co-star in Drew Barrymore‘s directional film debut, Whip It!, based on a beauty-pageant contestant turned roller derby competitor. The project focuses on a misfit woman looking to relieve her small-town complications by joining a team of roller derby women based out of Bodeen, Texas. (Press Release)

Aside from television and films, Eve confirmed she is making a forthcoming album earlier this year.

“Unfortunately I am caught up in a whole music label situation,” she said in an interview. “The album is finally going to come out this spring or summer…We went back in and reworked the whole thing…I had to get in there and put in some upbeat music that I wasn’t depressed about…It won’t be called Here I Am anymore. Now it’s called Flirt.” (New York Post)

The upcoming season of “Glee” will premiere this fall.
