Former Ruff Ryders member Eve has finally come clean on her publicized early 2000's stolen sex tape and reflected on the footage's aftermath.
According to the Philadelphia rapper, she contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to address the leak.
Eve has accomplished a lot in her career, but remembering her former relationship and sex tape with “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Stevie J has the Ruff Ryder First Lady regretting the X-rated clip that was leaked on the Internet back in the early 2000s. While Stevie J is adamant that he didn’t leak the sex tape, he claims that it made the Ruff Ryder rapper hot. Eve begs to differ on that point. “It definitely didn’t,” Eve said on Wednesday’s episode of “RapFix Live.” “When that happened, sex tapes weren’t ‘hot’ like that, and I got the FBI involved. So that’s not something I wanted to happen.” (RapFix)
The rapper’s ex-boyfriend Stevie J addressed the now-infamous earlier this year.
The Let Me Blow Ya Mind hit-maker and the producer were engaged but split in 2000. A video containing sexually explicit footage of the pair was subsequently released, prompting fans to blame the former Bad Boy Entertainment hit-maker for the leak. However, Stevie J set the record straight during an appearance on MTV’s RapFix Live on Wednesday, insisting it was one of Eve’s pals who put the video on the web. He says, “I made a tape and gave it to her and she took it on the road, on tour with her, and the rest was history. It wasn’t me, I didn’t leak that joint (video). I gave it to her and one of her girlfriends leaked it, thank you very much. I don’t want my beefcake all in the street.” (Star Pulse)
He also hinted at one of Eve’s girlfriends being behind the leak.
“…that was a girl with Eve who leaked that tape, Eve’s girlfriend leaked that tape. They was on the tour bus watching it and she must have felt some type of way and she wanted it for herself.” (ZHipHop Cleveland)
On rapper 50 Cent‘s “Just A Touch,” he references Eve amongst other infamous sex tape stars.
