ESPN is out here really making people think they’re low-key playing the race card with its employees. The sports network has reportedly let broadcaster Katie Nolan slide after publicly calling out President Donald Trump in a televised appearance.
According to reports, Nolan will not lose her job or even face a suspension for labeling the Trumpster a “stupid person.”
Well, well, well. It looks like ESPN broadcaster Katie Nolan won’t be suspended after her comments about Donald Trump on a recent episode of VICELAND’s Desus & Mero. After referring to Trump as a “fucking stupid person,” representatives for ESPN told TMZ Sports that they’ve simply given her a warning about the “inappropriate” comment and that no further action would be taken. “We have looked into the totality of Nolan’s comments, they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her,” a rep shared. In October, President Trump publicly went at ESPN host Jemele Hill and credited her for hurting the network’s ratings.
With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have "tanked," in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry!

A few days prior, various hip-hop personalities had rallied support for Jemele.

The same week, ESPN issued a statement on Hill’s two-week suspension for a social media violation.
“Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines,” ESPN said in a statement. “She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.” (Statement)
Racism? Linda Cohn did not even get a warning before she was suspended. Hill got a chance. Nice try though.
