REAL LIFE
In 2008, rap superstar T.I. was sentenced to 366 days in prison after working out a plea deal after being arrested at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on felony gun possession charges.
When T.I.’s plea deal was first announced, the entire hip-hop world wondered how a previously convicted felon attempting to purchase heavy artillery could get away with a simple prison bid. Even 50 Cent hinted that T.I. possibly “snitched” to avoid serious time behind bars.
