While Al had to limit what he said, the West Coast producer did unleash a few details about Em’s state of mind.

“That’s my boss. I deejay for him and I’m not at liberty to speak on much, but you know his caliber and what he does. Clearly going to further territories. I think what you would expect, especially after the last go-round. … He was just getting his feet back on Relapse and then Recovery just came with the smash hits and everything and I think now — he’s Eminem.” (MTV)

Recently, D12’s Mr. Porter said Slim’s next album should arrive by this fall.

Shady’s fresh beats were “supposed to” drop the day after Memorial Day (May 28)… well, that didn’t happen. Now rumors suggest that the release date is July 2. But according to former D12 rapper and Eminem’s hype man Mr. Porter, it’s more likely that the record will hit air-wives sometime in the fall (or late summer). (M Starz)

Earlier this month, Em hit the recording booth alongside Aftermath Records protégé Kendrick Lamar.

The Black Hippy crew (Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock) were in Detroit this Wednesday (June 5), and had the opportunity to link up with Eminem in the studio. Along with Em, Slaughterhouse’s Royce Da 5’9 and Mr. Porter were also in the cut. Will we see a collaboration in the future? Only time will tell. (Baller Status)

Last month, comedian Chris Rock briefly talked about clocking in studio time with Slim Shady.

“Yeah, yeah, but money does that,” Chris jokingly said when an interviewer said Em looked younger in the photo. “I’m 65, man! [laughs] Money is the best lotion in the world. [What were we doing?] I can’t really say. I’m saying, hey, you know, I’ve been on, hey, hey, I was on the Kanye record, maybe I’m on the Eminem record. You never know. You never know!” (Fuse TV)
