Grammy-winning rapper Eminem might have went a little too far during his Bonnaroo concert. New reports claim Slim Shady is getting heat for using realistic-sounding gunshots during his set.
According to reports, Em sparked the controversy during his Saturday night set.
Shortly after starting his headlining set on the What Stage, three separate blasts rang out during his performance sparking debate on social media over whether such sound effects are appropriate in the context of recent mass shootings. (USA Today)
Social media made sure to single out Em and debate over his special effects decision.

coming from a performing stand point, i get the effect of sound effects on stage, but there’s a certain point that cross’s the line. i’m one of eminem’s number 1 fans but to hear 3 gun shots coming straight from his set had me scared af. not gonna lie. especially in this world…

Recently, rap star Nicki Minaj called Em the G.O.A.T. and reacted to him saying they’re dating.
Earlier in the month, Em shocked fans during a live concert by announcing he’s officially dating Nicki.
