With Thanksgiving Day in full effect, "Rap God" Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg reflected on what he is most thankful for this time of the year.

In Rosenberg’s perspective, getting out big projects like Em’s Marshall Mathers LP 2, Action Bronson‘s Blue Chips 2 and Danny Brown‘s Old made his year.

“I guess I would say I’ve really grown to appreciate how lucky I am and my company is to be able to work with artists whose music we appreciate so much and are able to figure out the best ways to share it with the world. And I don’t want to sound all, “We Are The World” on you, but we really are so happy with the people we get to work with, and love the music so much that we’re grateful for it. To be able to put out the Danny Brown Old album, Blue Chips 2 and the Marshall Mathers LP 2 in the span of a few months, that’s f*ckin’ awesome, you know? [Laughs] Sometimes I’m like, wow, we’re part of all these things. And as a fan I’m just like, wow, way to go, to myself. [Laughs] Just to be able to be involved in those things is great.” (XXL Mag)

Rosenberg has even more reasons to smile as Slim Shady’s latest solo offering pushed out 120,000 copies in its third week on store shelves.

Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” returns to the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200, shifting 120,000 copies in its third week (down 43%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It’s the second week at the top for the set, which stepped aside last week to let Lady Gaga‘s “ARTPOP” open atop the list. This week, “ARTPOP” moves to No. 8 with 46,000 (down 82%). It’s the third No. 1 debut this year to decline by 80% in its second frame, following Justin Timberlake‘s “The 20/20 Experience” (2 of 2) (down 80.1%) and Kanye West’s “Yeezus” (down 80.3%). It’s become more common to see No. 1 debuts dip by more than 75% in their second week, as increased focus is placed on first-week sales and pre-orders. (Billboard)

Based on weekend estimates, Shady’s newest offering was expected to once again reign atop the chart.

YOUR TOP 15 (PLUS ONE): Eminem returns to #1 next week, but it will be a brief stay–One Direction hits the street on Monday. Here’s how it looks headed into the weekend: Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 120-125k *Five Finger Death Punch (Prospect Park) 75-80k Now 48 (UMe) 65-70k *Hunger Games (Republic) 55-60k *Daughtry (19/RCA) 55-60k The Robertsons (EMI Nashville) 55-60k Lady Gaga (Interscope) 50-55k *Yo Gotti (RCA) 40-45k (HITS Daily Double)

Em’s new LP recently reached platinum status after only two weeks in stores.

Eminem’s new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 has achieved certified platinum status just two weeks after its release, according to Billboard. The 40-year-old secured 792k sales in its debut week, which made the climb to 1 million records sold relatively easy this week. The MMLP2 track “Berzerk” snagged platinum honors back in October and “The Monster” featuring Rihanna looks to be headed to similar success. The duo previously hit 11-times platinum status with their track “Love the Way You Lie.” Despite posting the second-highest first week sales of 2013, Em’s album was knocked out of the top spot this week by Lady Gaga’s new release, ARTPOP.
