Grammy-winning rapper Eminem’s surprise Kamikaze album is going to need some serious support to reach the insane numbers last year’s Revival put up.
According to reports, Slim Shady’s surprise LP will need huge opening week sales and streams to match his 2017 album’s success.
The set follows Revival, which dropped in December of last year and topped the chart with 267kโor 197k albums, 83m streamsโin its first week out. Kamikaze includes two songs featuring buzzworthy up-and-comer Jessie Reyez and a song made for and named after upcoming Marvel movie Venom, as well as cover art that pays homage to Beastie Boys’ Licensed to Ill. (HITS Daily Double)
A few hours ago, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James hyped up the LP’s greatness.
