Grammy-winning rapper Eminem‘s new Kamikaze album isn’t getting slept-on. Marshall Mathers’ surprise LP is expected to easily sell over 200,000 copies in its opening week.
Based on initial estimates, the project’s digital estimates are through the roof.
At the point the set looks like a lock for 200k+. Will it zoom past the first-week flight of Revival, which logged 267k on its maiden voyage last December? At Apple Music, Em has the Top 3 tracks (“The Ringer, “Lucky You” f/Joyner Lucas and “Greatest”), eight of the Top 10 and 13 of the Top 20; Kamikaze is also, unsurprisingly, the top album. At iTunes he has the #1 album, three of the Top 4 and four in the Top 10. At Spotify U.S., he also has the Top 3, six of the Top 10 and 13 of the Top 20. He has 3 of the Top 4 on Spotify’s Global chart. (HITS Daily Double)
