Grammy-winning rapper Eminem isn’t shying away from his now-publicized Machine Gun Kelly feud. The real Slim Shady has addressed the sudden rap battle and going directly at MGK on his new Kamikaze album.

In a new interview with hip-hop personality Sway, Em said his issues with the Ohio native are way deeper than him name-dropping his daughter.

“You know you go down the wormhole of YouTube and whatever, right? So I see, ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter’ or whatever, right? So I’m like, ‘What the f*ck?’ I clicked on it. Then he starts doing a press run, basically, about Hailie. I’m like, ‘What the f*ck? Yo, my man better chill.’ So, that’s not why I dissed him. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that. Now I’m in this f*ckin’ weird thing, because I’m like, ‘I’ve got to answer this motherfucker.'” (The Kamikaze Interview Part 1)

Last week, Machine Gun Kelly updated a Michigan concert crowd on where things stood in their rap feud.

“This is not a battle between Michigan and Ohio,” the Cleveland-based Machine Gun Kelly told the Grand Rapids crowd. “This is a battle between the past and the (expletive) future.” “Knees weak of old age — the real Slim Shady can’t stand up,” MGK continued, as he launched into a live version of “Rap Devil,” his harsh lyrical attack on the veteran Detroit rapper. In a recent interview, West Coast rapper O.T Genasis said Em shouldn’t entertain MGK’s disses.

“Stop the white on white crime, man. [laughs] Let’s stop the white on white crime. I actually didn’t hear [MGK’s ‘Rap Devil’] – I heard a snippet of it. I haven’t heard it. I heard Em went after him. I’m not sure. I heard Em went after him and then now he’s just trying to hold down his part. You kinda can’t just sit there and be a b*tch and let somebody talk about you. Em is the greatest. Yeah, the greatest. The goat. [Should Em respond?] Nah. He’s too great for that. Too great for that.” (TMZ)

Producer Mr. Porter believes Em is going to inevitably respond to MGK’s verbal shots.

“Right now, he in there working. We doing something else right now, but trust me, we’ll get to it. I’ll tell you this: I wouldn’t wanna be him. It’s great that you took that opportunity and did that, hey, kudos to you, good for you. The one thing that I’m worried about – you remember when [Marvel Cinematic Universe character] Thanos threw that whole planet at Iron Man?” (Skoglund16 TV)

  1. Annoyed he didn’t just come out and say the petty reason for dissing him. He eludes to it but never just said why. It’s almost like why bother to bring up saying it was for a pettier reason.
