The unexpected anthem, off New York deejay Tony Touch‘s upcoming The Piecemaker 3, premiered on Marshall Mathers’ Sirius Shade 45 radio station this week.

Shady’s back. Eminem has dropped his first new music in some years, releasing 90 seconds of a track called “Symphony In H.” The tune charters familiar territory for the 40-year-old Detroit rapper — it’s full of venom, vigour and some violent imagery. The snippet premiered on DJ Tony Touch’s Shade 45 show, and can be streamed below at Shady Records’ SoundCloud page. The full song is expected to appear on Tony Touch’s upcoming mixtape, “The Piece Maker 3: Return of the 50 MCs, which is due July 9. (Billboard)

On the track, Em paints vivid images and reminds listeners why he is a lyrical beast.

Don’t ask me what’s up with the hoes /I’m still working the kinks out /Love stinks, that explains all this anger that’s spillin’ out /And I ain’t chilling out. Got an Oscar but I’m still a grouch /I use it as a doorstop and a prop /For the broken leg for the couch /Yelawolf, Shady, Tony-Touch, Slaughterhouse /Yeah the SWAT team ’bout to break them flyswatters out /Go to hell in a drought, break ice waters out /Nice try shorty, why? /We can windowshop the jewelry store /But Christ for that price coulda’ bought a house /Besides only thing I ever had iced out was my heart since I started out /It’s F.Y.I, if ya ain’t knowing” (“Symphony In H”)

Fellow Shady Records affiliate Alchemist recently spoke on Em’s return to consistent music-making.

“That’s my boss. I deejay for him and I’m not at liberty to speak on much, but you know his caliber and what he does. Clearly going to further territories. I think what you would expect, especially after the last go-round. … He was just getting his feet back on Relapse and then Recovery just came with the smash hits and everything and I think now — he’s Eminem.” (MTV)

Recently, D12’s Mr. Porter said Slim’s next album should arrive by this fall.

Shady’s fresh beats were “supposed to” drop the day after Memorial Day (May 28)… well, that didn’t happen. Now rumors suggest that the release date is July 2. But according to former D12 rapper and Eminem’s hype man Mr. Porter, it’s more likely that the record will hit air-wives sometime in the fall (or late summer). (M Starz)

  1. Damn I gave up on Jlo about 10 yrs ago but those kids made her a little thicker. Its a good look, can’t 4get she’s been around the block a few times but still a good look. And fuck the 2pac/Biggie debate, I like em both. Both r classic artists from a classic era

    • She actually was thicker back in the days. Hips was looking nice. The ratio was just right. She still good but that a$$ ain’t what it used to be. lol. I’ll still knock it down tho. lol.
