Grammy-winning rapper Eminem is not forgetting his roots and has reportedly recruited Detroit hero Danny Brown to perform overseas with him next month. #Motown

According to reports, Danny Brown will invade Slim Shady’s July 11-12 Wembly Stadium shows in London.

Eminem shows plenty of Detroit love in the states and will showcase more overseas when he does two July concert at London’s Wembley Stadium. The July 11 show, falling on a Friday, is already sold out according to the 90,000-plus seat venue. (M Live)

Brown confirmed the reports by jumping onto his Instagram page.

“Bruh bruhs I am honored to announce this show w Eminem and OF. #WEMBLEY!!!!,” Brown captioned June 12 to a promotional flyer for the two-day event. (Danny Brown’ Instagram)

Buzz behind rap group Odd Future getting involved in the overseas concert hit the Internet last month.

Odd Future are set to support Eminem at his upcoming shows at Wembley Stadium. The collective will open up for the rapper on July 11-12, at the first ever hip-hop shows to take place at the massive London venue. Eminem broke the news on his Instagram account, posting a video of Tyler, The Creator saying his group would be appearing at the gigs this summer. (NME)

A few weeks back, Slim Shady talked about performing in London.

“I’m not saying I’ll never be ready for that again, but right now, this is what’s working for me,” Shady said about falling back from long tours. “[My stage shows nowadays?] It’s definitely better.
