According to reports, Em’s new LP toppled Rick Ross‘ new Hood Billionaire and Beyoncé’s Beyoncé: More Only EP.

Shady XV 148,000 (138,000 album sales)
Hood Billionaire 79,000 (74,000 album sales)
Beyonce: More Only (EP) 71,000 (43,000 album sales) (HHNM)

Check out what Tyler, the Creator said about Eminem’s new album right here…

According to recent reports, rapper Tyler, the Creator relied on Twitter to dish out his personal feelings on the new release.

The tweet has since been taken down, since the Odd Future leader probably doesn’t want to be on the Detroit raper’s bad side, but that didn’t stop him from speaking negatively about it.
“I love you Marshall, you are my favorite rapper, but dude ‘ShadyXV’ is f—ing ASS,” he reportedly wrote. “Hahaha, why won’t someone who loves him tell him NO,” which suggests that Tyler is confused about why people in Em’s camp weren’t more honest with him about the project. (The Boom Box)

Following his unexpected remarks, Tyler appeared to acknowledge them with a Twitter post.

Despite Tyler’s comments, Em’s new album was expected to topple the sales chart this week.

SHADYXV (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 140-150k sales, 155-165k sales + streams Beyoncé – Platinum Edition (More) EP (Columbia) 50-55k, sales 70-80k sales + streams* Rick Ross (Def Jam) 65-70k sales, 70-75k sales + streams (HITS Daily Double)

    • That’s gotta be a typo. I’m disappointed at Beyoncé fans. They’re like ants…. Everywhere man. Should of been supporting more.

      • Does she have a hit out. I don’t listen to radio but I haven’t heard anything from Beyonce lately. Only Em can get away with selling without a lead single. white people eat it up no matter what.

      • it was a rerelease. only 2 new songs. most people arent gonn buy a rerelease just for two new songs when they can just download those 2 for free ya know?

  1. Ross album was a glorified mixtape with 5 or 6 gems and the rest were Mastermind throwaways I’m suprised it sold that much it definitely seemed rushed & didn’t have the usual campaign and roll out of his previous joints…heard he dropped this to get out his def jam contract….shady let me down didn’t buy it

  2. Ems album was a compilation album. Beyonces was a re release and Ross put out an album earlier this year. For Ross you gotta remember each artist has a budget and he prolly spent most of the promotion money on the first album thats why the this one doesnt seem like it was that heavily promoted. Remember Justin Timberlake puttin out two albums in one year last year? Same thing. The first part of 20/20 experience did 968k first week but when part 2 came out it didnt have even half the amount of promotion and in turn only did 350k first week.

    • If think it is the worst mistake for artists to put out two albums in one ear. Eat off the album hype for a year, and build up the anticipation.

    • Where was the promotion for the Ross album and what dumb ass would put it out the same time as an Em album?

  3. I’m glad Em came out to show y’all niggaz that Rozay ain’t shit. Hood Billionaire is straight up Trash. I’m surprised Bey didn’t sell that much but she’ll easily recoup that with her tour.
