Grammy-winning rapper Eminem is going to remain busy in 2015 as reports claim he may take part in a new television show.

According to reports, Slim Shady has been targeted to produce an upcoming series based out of his Michigan hometown.

Detroit-born-and-raised Eminem has become a symbol of the city, supporting it through good times and bad. Now the famous rapper will be lending a hand to a TV project set in Motor City: Paramount TV’s drama series inspired by Joe Carnahan’s 2002 movie Narc. I’ve learned that Eminem is in negotiations to join the project as an executive producer and music supervisor, and as part of that he is expected to write some original songs. Carnahan has written a pilot script and is set to direct and executive produce the drama, which is expected to be taken out to networks. (Deadline)

According to recent reports, “Empire” producer Brian Glazer hinted at the possibility of Em appearing on his show.

“Eminem, I know, loves our show. And I produced 8 Mile. I’m going to beg him to get on our show. He and Oprah Winfrey. Somehow I’m going to get one or both them on our show.” (“Good Morning America”)

Em made Billboard’s “Money Makers List: Music’s Top Earner of 2014” list earlier this spring.
