OVO Sound producer Nineteen85 has provided diehard Drake fans with some insight on a long-awaited More Life project. With anticipation growing for the album, the hitmaker assured supporters it will live up to the hype.

According to Nineteen85, More Life will showcase Drizzy coming off a monster 2016 and at the top of his game.

“More Life is interesting because this is [Drake] right on the peak of his biggest project yet [with Views], doing his biggest tour and still having so many good ideas that he just wants to put out without making it a big ordeal,” he explains. “That’s why he’s trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out…. He’s so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world.” (Billboard)

Last month, R&B singer Bryson Tiller hinted at a new Drake collaboration coming together.

Recent reports revealed Drake’s upcoming More Life compilation project would arrive in 2017.

It looks like we won’t be getting a new album from Drake before year’s end. Tonight on OVO Sound Radio, after stating that he owes fans an update, Oliver El-Khatib announced that Drizzy’s compilation album More Life will be dropping “at the the top of 2017.” Although 2017 is right around the corner, the news comes as a disappointment to fans who were expecting the album to drop sometime this month.
