YMCMB/Republic’s Drake dropped his latest single Saturday night. It’s been reported that the track, titled “I’m Upset,” will be on full-length Scorpion—out in June.It was only available on iTunes—where it is #1—and Apple Music, where it is #2. “I’m Upset” arrives on the heels of Pusha T diss record “Duppy,” something released in immediate response to Pusha’s “Infrared,” which targets the superstar rapper and came out on 5/25 as a part of album Daytona. Last week, Drake dropped his unexpected “Duppy Freestyle” diss song aimed at G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T.
Drake starts out “Duppy Freestyle” by calling out Pusha-T and Kanye. “If you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple of V’s, what do you really think of the n*gga that’s making your beats?/I’ve done things for him, I thought that he never would need/Father had to stretch his hands out and get it for me,” he raps. Later on, Drake calls out Kanye by name: “Tell ’Ye we got an invoice comin’ to you/Considering we just sold another 20 for you.” (Pitchfork)
