OVO Sound boss Drake has come through on a promise to deliver new music. The hip-hop star has linked up with Lil Baby for their new “Yes Indeed” single.
Early Tuesday, the duo put out their latest collaboration to the masses.
Now, the duo have remastered the track and given it a new, official title: “Yes Indeed”. Despite the name change, Lil Baby still makes references to the popular Pokémon character with the lyrics, “Cartier glasses, I won’t even peek at you / Yellow Ferrari like Pikachu.” (Highsnobiety)
On Monday, Drizzy promised to deliver on this record at midnight.

Initially, the duo put out an unofficial version of their anthem over the weekend.
Earlier this month, Lil Baby previewed a collaboration with Drake during Preme’s album release party at the Empire Lounge in Atlanta. Snippets found their way onto social media, thanks to Quality Control CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas. Days later, “Pikachu” came to fruition, premiering on the latest episode of Beats 1’s OVO Sound Radio on Friday. (Billboard)
A few weeks ago, OVO Sound affiliate Preme hinted at what fans should expect from Drake’s upcoming Scorpion album.
