OVO Sound leader Drake’s Memorial Day Weekend celebration party reportedly ended in violence this week.
Celebrity blogger Karen Civil posted up footage of a female brawl going down at Drizzy’s invite-only outing on Twitter last night (May 30).
Drake posted up a shot of himself presumably at the party on Instagram Monday (May 30).
Aside from the incident, Drake has kept busy beating his competition up on the album sales chart this month.
Drake’s Views refuses to budge from the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as it nets a fourth straight week atop the list. It now has the most weeks at No. 1 for an album by a male artist in over four years. (Billboard)
Drake’s newest solo release hit over 500 million streams earlier this month.
In its latest week, “Views” had only 83,000 sales, but songs from it racked up 186 million streams, according to Nielsen. Since the album came out, the songs have been streamed 572 million times in the United States; in each of the three weeks that “Views” has been out, it has had higher streaming numbers than any album has ever had.
