OVO Sound boss Drake is running the streaming game right now but he has some competition on his heels. The 6 God’s hit records are now going up against a slew of hard-hitting anthems.

According to reports, popular songs by Juice WRLD, Cardi B and the late XXXTentacion could shake up Drizzy’s digital placements.

Yes, Drake remains the dominant force on this week’s Streaming Songs Chart, with the Top 3, seven of the Top 10, 23 of the Top 25, etc., etc., yada yada. But the YMCMB/Republic star has some competition from Grade A/Interscope’s hard-charging Juice WRLD (flying #21-4 with “Lucid Dreams”), Bad Vibes Forever’s XXXTentacion (moving #24-8 with “Sad!”), Atlantic’s Cardi B, Bad Bunny & J Balvin (“I Like It,” moving #26-9) and Quality Control/Motown/Capitol’s Lil Baby (“Yes Indeed,” a collaboration with, um, Drake, #28-12). But let’s face it, Drizzy remains a gobsmacking sensation, with 377m+ streams. (HITS Daily Double)

The 6 God has nearly 30 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This week, buzz developed about the 6 God possibly gearing up for a new record deal.

Word is that Drake is at the end of his contractual obligations to the Young Money/Cash Money label — “Soon as this album drop I’m out of the deal,” he raps on the song “Is There More” — which is distributed through Universal Music Group’s Republic Records. And a well-placed source tells Variety that when Drake signs his next deal, he’ll have another release ready to drop to accompany the news — although a Universal source reveals that the artist is not leaving the label family any time soon. This week, Drake flexed some extremely impressive Billboard Hot 100 stats.
