OVO Sound boss Drake has nothing but love for the mighty Clan. The hip-hop superstar went online this week to share a major salute to iconic rap group Wu-Tang.

Drake Salutes Wu-Tang Clan

Heading into Friday, the 6 God went to his Instagram page with an iced-out pic. Drake shared a pic of himself rocking tons of diamond-encrusted chains with a very present Wu-Tang shirt on.

Drake’s Wu-Tang salute caught the attention of fellow rap peer Lil Yachty and Hollywood icon Halle Berry.

“N*gga u been somebody since I was in like 3rd grade” -Lil Yachty

“Say THAT. 🔥” -Halle Berry

It’s worth noting Drake paid homage to the legendary Clan with his “Wu-Tang Forever” song off 2013’s Nothing Was the Same album.

High-Key Details

Recently, Drake dropped $300,000 each on iced-out jewelry pieces by Los Angeles jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. The epic chains paid homage to the memory of late rap icon Tupac Shakur.

Each pendant comes with a diamond chain with a total of approximately 70 carats of flawless white and yellow diamonds, plus … over a HALF KILO of gold in total. Total price for each piece was $300k!!! We’re told Jason and his crew spent about 5 weeks completing the Pac-Jesus pieces. Drake initially came to Jason with an idea about what he wanted … and they worked together to come up with the final tribute. (TMZ)

“Thank you @champagnepapi for trusting us with this project. 🙏🏼🙏🏼Unbelievable honor to help pay homage to the legend Tupac Shakur.” -Jason of Beverly Hills’ Instagram

Drake’s $500K 2Pac chains are epic.

Wait, There’s More

Coincidentally, Drake recently shared his top five favorite rappers and didn’t include Pac. Drizzy’s favorites included JAY-Z, Andre 3000 and Notorious B.I.G.

“My top 5 is Biggie, Hov, Wayne, Young Tony and 3000 since nobody asked.” -Drake’s Instagram

Before You Go

In July 2020, Drizzy lit up his Instagram page with fresh content. In addition to shouting out OVO Noel, Drake promised his 69.8 million Instagram followers he’s in the zone.
