OVO Sound boss Drake’s “God’s Plan” is doing more good than he could have ever expected. The 6 God’s epic record has inspired a must-hear parody song called “Don’s Plan.”
“Saturday Night Live” stars Pete Davidson and Chris Redd linked up this week to release their hard-hitting anti-Donald Trump banger to the masses.
Saturday Night Live cast members Pete Davidson and Chris Redd mock President Trump on “Don’s Plan,” their hilarious parody of Drake’s Number One single “God’s Plan.” The comedians touch on the commander-in-chief’s proposal for arming teachers with guns, support from white supremacists and alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, among other subjects. On the track, the duo go at President Trump with endless current references from his publicized NRA support to alleged low-key affair with adult star Stormy Daniels.
The lyrics focus on news items that have dominated conversation over the past couple of months. The duo take aim at Trump’s notorious Twitter persona and don’t hesitate to call out his alleged affair with Stormy Daniels. “Keeping calm while tweeting is a struggle for me/ Tell Stormy she can pee and cuddle with me/ Steppin’ out the plane as the wind hits my weave/ My ties with the NRA stay deep/ Try to bring the country back to 2003,” the comedians rap in unison. Both Pete and Chris have hit up their Instagram pages to turn up to their banger.
Last month, Drake’s “God’s Plan” turned into a hilarious spoof video.
In the Kimmel parody, Guillermo Diaz, a former parking-lot security guard who now does frequent comedy bits, visits a dollar store with $100. He stands in front of the store with a megaphone and annouces, “Hi, everybody! Listen! Today’s your lucky day! I’m going to buy you one thing, and only one thing, from Only 99 Cents!” He then struts around as “God’s Plan” plays, handing out dollar bills, and the resulting video is a small masterpiece of bemused, nonplussed, and slightly irritated reaction shots.
